We are living in a Bizarre Trumpistanian World:
• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America. Not happening.
• Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegal Mexicans voting in our elections are good? Both are bad, only the first is true.
• It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.
Biden did no blackmail, he stated the position of the EU RE a corrupt prosecutor. Trump sought dirt on a political opponent in return for arms, THAT'S why he was justifiably impeached
• Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote. State decision, you against State's rights? DUI's and traffic fatalities correlate with underage drinking.
• Illegals aren't required to show ID, but citizens can't buy cough medicine without it. Illegals would be required to show an ID for the exact same kind of purchase.
• Citizens are fined if they don’t buy their own health insurance, and then they are forced to buy it for illegals. No, they aren't forced to buy it for anyone else, legal or illegal.
• People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves. Getting no traction whatsoever for obvious reasons.
• Inflammatory rhetoric is outrageous, but harassing people in restaurants is virtuous. No, both are outrageous.
• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for useless degrees.
People who have never farmed a turnip are forced to pay bailouts for Big AG and smaller farmers alike.
• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated. No, they are screened for those and other diseases AND they are vaccinated. And of course you need to have tags for you dog.
That's roughly half of the list that the incurious and the critical thinking impaired blithely, dumbly, accepted as true.
