My PR predictions for this week: Monday - Updat
Post# of 148176
Monday - Update on first 10, including last two’s initial response and more information around the impact on these patients (off ventilators, out of icu, etc)
Monday - Announcement of first patients injected for both trials, possibly expanding on information about location of centers, speed of enrollment so far, etc.
Tuesday/Wednesday - Overseas update on two countries getting access now that fda has rubber stamped us with “safe to proceed”.
Thursday - Nothing because we had Fox News late Wednesday
Friday - (Long shots for funsies) BLA submission or some sort of interim analysis update on trials)
For the record I think the BLA gets delayed into at least the week after. Too much coronavirus work going on with both Cytodyn and Amarex right now. I also think that we will find out sooner than 6 weeks that Leronlimab is approved for coronavirus. It works too quickly, and the patients tested in the severe group are too close to the end for there not to be evidence of the positive effect within two weeks. At that point there’s nothing political that can stop it. If there’s one thing I know about Trump it’s that he would kill to be able to announce he was saving lives. I don’t think it will get mentioned by name this week because it’s clear the powers that be are intent on getting more information before letting any cats out of the bag. But I believe that information starts to roll in in droves by the end of the week.
It’s unfair that thanks to coronavirus March felt like it was 200 days long. Now waiting on each new leap forward with Leronlimab news feels like March all over again. Then to top things off I slow cooked short ribs today. That was a mistake making the main thing I’d look forward to on this Sunday take all day to come to fruition. Nothing is moving quickly enough. Is it Monday morning yet? Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
