Agree about efficiency of cloud computing and only paying for what you are using. In the old days had to buy enough hardware to handle peak usage and then have some of it not being used a lot of the time. Also you had to guess the right number and if you guessed too low then at peaks your application would not work.
I have nothing against non-USA software developers and you raise some good points there.
One thing I have noticed with code written in India, it gets the job done but their way of approaching the problem can be different and the resulting code, while it works, is difficult to understand and debug, and hard to maintain.
