Dr. Fauce stated last night that COVID-19 could be cyclical. I am assuming that by cyclical he means that it may be comparable to the flu in that it returns every year. His canary in the coal mine is watching the southern hemisphere, where it will soon be winter. If COVID-19 becomes pandemic there, we can expect it to return during the traditional flu season.

What does this mean for NuGenerex? Since Dr. EvH and Epivax have been working on vaccines for these pandemics for two decades, I hope they continue their work with long term goals in mind.. If Dr. Fauce is accurate, we will not see the end of COVID-19 by summer. It may be mitigated and some of the research with China may prove beneficial. However, NuGenerex and Epivax cannot lose sight of the big picture and as investors, neither can we.

With all of our dividend shares it is understandable if we have a short term view, once the shares are quantified. However, it seems to me that it would be even wiser to maintain a core position that should be held for the long term. By tracking COVID-19 over the next six months in the southern hemisphere we should have some idea as to what to expect during the next flu season in the northern hemisphere. JMO, of course.
