I noticed on page 7, near the bottom, is a picture of a bar of soap with a big red 'X' thru it with a notice that soap washes off the natural AMPs (anti-microbial peptides) from our skin, allowing the remaining e coli to grow much, much quicker than non-washed hands.
Seems at odds with all the hand-washing we have been told to do for C19.
Must be e coli not as worrisome as C19, but puzzling to find washing hands not a universal good thing against all bacteria. Wonder if other bacteria are grouped with the e coli?
I found the article quite impressive, but I couldn't determine the slide you were urging us to review. What page is it on?
