I have been doing that starting Monday night, just in case. Things are moving so rapidly you never know. The only drawback is that having the laptop at home, it is hard to stay away from doing work in the evening. Given that I work at a client site, you never know when the client might lock the building to subcontractors and only let employees in.

I hadn't thought about laptop sales going up, but makes sense.
