What I failed to factor in, in my naïveté (AKA stupidity), was the absence paying subscribers, inadequate funding, no patents, and the scattershot of great ideas with little focus. Yes I know, somewhat redundant.
No low hanging fruit had been identified.
And then along came SoundConcepts and NASDAQ. SC principals threw in their lot with Rory/VERB and clearly by then VERB had identified "the fruit."
Others saw the light too. Recent hires and the quality of the BOD confirm. Did I mention one million users in little over a year. That's growth that even I recognize as heroic. And more coming...
Now we are in exactly the right place at the right time. Redspeed has maintained our focus and has accurately connected the dots through some pretty thin times. As the market tumbles this is exactly the story that investors will listen to. Growth, growth and more growth. A few quarters to prove up the VERB story will do wonders for VERB holders now underwater. This is especially so when one can easily make the story for a multi, multi billion dollar company that now, importantly, exudes confidence.
