Digital footprints are forever. I am not a techie, coder or network guy. However, when I don't know something, I try to go to the source, dig in and do my investing based on my DD and my DD alone. With that said, I was very curious as to the SEC, screen names, message boards, trade actions and etc., so I set out to learn more. I will not name my source or government agency that he works for, but my source was involved in the "silk road" case if anyone is familiar with that? He shared some very interesting information that I was not aware of. To begin with, digital footprints, web activity, trades and etc. never go away and the anonymous "screen names" have never been easier to track with todays' technology. He filled me in on much more that I choose not to share, but my point is, "You reap what you sow". They are being monitored and their day will come. Fortunately, I was raised to treat others how you would like to be treated and "do the next best right thing". By doing that, I have nothing to worry about and I can enjoy life and each moment that life has to offer. I do agree, we should all post, thumbs up or voice our opinions in regards to our investment!
