Yes I am well aware of the ease and comfort I enjoy each day of "retirement".
I am blessed with a wonderful companion to accompany me on my life journey since I married her at age 20 nearly 50yers ago,
I have fathered two strong children who are fine people; kind and considerate of others.
I live in this great nation that has not experienced the horrors of war at home in living memory.
When I go to the grocery store I can afford pretty much whatever I want to eat.
I live in a time and place where/when I have the means and the access to get state-of-the-art medical care like this advanced device in my chest. My heart was "pausing" (stopping) for up to 7 seconds at a time before the pacemaker.was installed in November. Were it not available, I probably would be in the grave too by now.
So...Each day I arise I feel have a bonus. I pray I have the strength to use it wisely for the benefit of all.
The Mrs. is a very generous woman, and would like to engage in philanthropy.
I am not as altruistic IIt would be cool to have an electric Studebaker hot rod! Ha!
Blessings to all,
S.A...
