That is a good point, it is a webinar tool. It

It's a live streaming tool
I don't think it's a video conferencing tool where 50 people can talk on the screen
Neither is Facebook LIVE but I don't use it
With FB, you can do a split screen
There is a problem with these tools where everyone has a camera and it's on the upstream bandwidth side as that speed is usually slower to you'll get screens freezing up. Happens on facetime too.
Here's my 10 reason why you may not want to use Facebook tools in your business. Because of the nature of social selling, the benefits may out weigh some of these risks. In no particular order and this is just my thoughts although one can find facts on the internet and form their own opinion.
1. Ads, Ads, Ads - Do you really want to see other companies ads when you are conducting business. Ads you can't control. Someone ever send you a screenshot of something and they don't realize there is an ad in there too and the ads are sometimes personalized based your latest searching. Ooops.
2. Data Privacy - Facebook and a lot of other sites capture a lot of data. Do you want Facebook capturing your employees data? Google Facebook data privacy scandal
3.Tracking - This goes hand and hand with data privacy. Facebook like a lot of other free sites tracks everything they can about you. You can use the developer part of Chrome or there are other plug in tools. You go run them while you go to facebook. You wouldn't believe all the URL associated with even one page a lot of it tracking you.

4. Security - Last year 50 million Facebook accounts were compromised. Google Facebook Hack and you'll see many people get their Facebook accounts hack. If you use Facebook as a company, you have no control over the security like you would with your own company tools.
5. Separating personal from professional - Do you want people using their personal accounts as a business account? Maybe with Direct Sales that's OK. Not with most other businesses though.
6. Distraction - A lot of companies used to block a lot of sites including Facebook. Why, because it's not productive to have people do their personal online stuff during working hours. Facebook waste time. A lot of social sites do. Maybe better for companies to have employees do it when not on the clock. There are studies that say it causes depression. I don't know if that is true. I think where they get that is people say they are happier when they walk away from it. Maybe spending too much time?
7. Liability - If you tell your employees to use Facebook on behalf of your business, you can't police or control everything they say. Many companies track what employees do on their computer and want some level of control.
8. One App - As a company, the few apps and places an employee needs to go, the better. It makes it easier and increases usage.
9. This isn't so much about Facebook as it is eating your own dog food as they say. If you are running a direct sales company and promoting the VERB app and telling users how great it is and to use it. What better way then to do a webinar, have clickable links and show people everyday or week, that feature in use.
10. Facebook doesn't have interactive links. Go watch one of their live online sellers. It's a zoo how it's done with the chat.
