Re: jrockford #8111
The risk of not doing anything and playing with fire is certainly not an approach that would or should go over in any boardroom. As a shareholder, I would not be in favor of delaying any agreement that helps capitalize the company. Fiduciary responsibility.

Then hire that class action firm and bring your suit if you think you can find a firm that will file a suit because the company isn't doing what a NOBO shareholder wants. KB knows all of the players, he has battled J&J to a standstill. His 2016 lawsuit is one of two reasons why J&J sold off Lifescan to Platinum -- loss of patent protection and lack of internal product development. KB has THE answer for both of these issues.

It is J&J who should fear a ruling, not KB. Remember what he said, the settlement or verdict will be "found money." But you know what, just like the Never Trumpers, certain NOBO shareholders have become Never Bermans and carry around Berman Derangement Syndrome because everyone knows it is all and only about share price. This is what puzzles me the most about the vocal NOBOs. If it is all and only about share price why do these people feel it is their calling to tell the DECN CEO what he should do and shouldn't do? He's the DECN CEO and NOBOs are just shareholders. Do I need to educate NOBOs again what their rights are?

$20 million, or even $5 million in the bank and KB can do TBG and its follow-ons without a partner -- and raise the price for TBG to a later in the game partner if he decides to take on a partner after a verdict or settlement. Remember, if you can, there are more large companies than just Platinum in the business.

Finally, to infer that KB and staff, all of who work 20 hour days are not "can-do" is a typical type of Berman Derangement Syndrome. Berman is wrong, the NOBO knows it all. So tell us what you would do.
