Mark told me during the reception four years ago, that he expected to sell the company within a year. I don't have a problem with him having said that, then, the lawyers were probably telling him at that time that the law suits were a lock to win.
The point is, there's not much of substance to be gleaned from these meetings. It is good to "look them in the eye" and see what you think. I liked them, they struck me as being trustworthy and responsive, to a point - it was time well spent and once seems to be enough.
At the end of the day, so to speak, it's a bunch of people having drinks and shooting the breeze in a hotel bar in Central NJ on a Friday night, no more or less.
