HA!! well...I don't think "economically viable"....and "profitable" are necessarily synonymous! The mandates aren't in place and the government/municipal/tax incentives/subsidies are not there yet. When the cost of disposing plastic is extreme with either out of pocket or as a result of environmental issues...we will see tech like this take off...IMO
