Lets not read too much into today’s stock drop. If an investor holds let’s say 300,000 shares, decides to participate in the offer and funds it by selling some shares there is not that much daily volume to soak up the additional selling. That one investor would need to sell 60-70,000 shares to invest the minimum $25,000. Just one investor deciding to sell could drop the sp by a couple cents, think about a half dozen doing the same. I am not participating and did not sell any shares btw. My point is that thinking the “market” does not like what is going on is really a large assumption when a reasonable explanation is right in front of us. Also, it could be a good sign that this selling to participate is happening, it raises funds and shows a sign of confidence in the investment.
I do doubt much funding will be raised from this and think it was a dumb move by mgmt overall. But I’m also not to worried that they won’t raise funds some other way to keep going. In my email to Nader and Michael I specifically pointed out that this would happen.
