As a side note, the two individuals referenced in the post are former employees of a Nasdaq-listed company called Kadmon Holdings. Additionally, Ms. Sheehan's LinkedIn profile says she's currently with MeiraGTx which is Nasdaq-listed gene therapy company focusing on various retinal and neurodegenerative diseases.
Based only on a cursory review, I learned that both companies have the same origin. Kadmon owns about 10% of MeiraGTx. Given the relationship between these two companies and the fact MeiraGTx is looking at some of the same markets as MANF Therapeutics, could one of these two entities end up acquiring AMBS?
It's very interesting that both companies have recently filed large shelf offerings with the SEC. They also have filed registration rights for some of their existing shareholders to sale their shares on the public market or in private transactions. I'm definitely going to keep my eye on both of these companies and do a deeper dive to see what I can find.
