If the revenue and profit model is worthwhile Company A would not wait and give Company B, C or D a chance. Your thought process is quite flawed and intentionally so; perhaps to influence naive investors.
Spoken by a person who I have concluded is a stock trader, not a professional in the field. So while you are entitled to your opinions about the situation, Mr. Berman, and me, you are just another guy who doesn't own shares with a soap box. When you learn about how the market works and about the players, your opinion about the business will be valued -- at least by me.
