i can't see why any insurance co. wouldn't jump on this device. the "tattle tell" part would be a boon for the ins. co. they could give a substantial discount, knowing they would be able to take away that discount when they got a report that little jimmy was going down main street at 10mph over posted speed limit and was a passenger. the ins. policy states that only family members are insured to drive that vehicle, so jimmy was either driving while using the passenger option, or an unauthorized driver was behind the wheel = revoked discount. speeding also revokes the discount. can't see any ins. co. turning down the "big brother" option. jmo
