I would expect the feedback to be that the DD APPs work great and will definitely save lives and reduce claims & liabilities which will increase an Insurance Company's bottom line. The issue will be pricing structure and assimilation into cars that are currently insured. I'm sure they will necessarily look at demand response regarding potential loss of customers if the DD APPs are mandatory without more laws on the books. I think the end result of these analyses will be that the products will be offered with discounts on the APPs and the insurance policy and the acceptance rates will be high - especially among business owners. Any venture of this type could be a Win/Win/Win for all parties involved. PR value will be priceless.
Obviously, this is all IMO, but, we have to find a way to eliminate the dangers of distracted driving.
