Besides, how do the long and strong shareholders know about the supposed naked short sellers?? Finra and Reg SHO say there isn't any large short position but the NR theory promoters are operating on gut feelings because they can't believe their moribund company can be trading only pennies per share. Mind you, those who profess their faith in Mr. Heddle and PTOI aren't putting up their money to buy any significant quantities of PTOI either, even at these "fire sale" prices, otherwise PTOI wouldn't be at two and a half cents.
I think the discussion is at an impasse on that topic. To you and me it seems obvious why a company which hasn't shown any results for over a decade would be trading at pennies...although the current $3M market cap still seems lofty to me but investors' faith continues to be relatively strong so it's not surprising.
If someone has continually reinforced their neurons for a decade to believe that short sellers are to blame for PTOI's share price, they're not going to suddenly come to any epiphany. They certainly won't start to realize that the 'technology' is nothing more than a kiln to heat up plastic until the chemical bonds start breaking.
I think it's good that the long and strong investors are satisfied with their investment in PTOI and are waiting for the day when PTOI starts selling or producing. They're content to be part of the dream and that's their right. Hopefully they won't recruit more investors to share in their yet-unrealized PTOI fortunes as I've very sure those fortunes won't ever come to fruition.
