Excited about Bokan ( can't believe it )
I've always known that forest was the true issue regardless that Ucore was actually in a "mineral designated zone" from 2011 and with so much other stuff, I lost track and recently did a re-fresh. Wow....the amount of work and turn-around; 2016 Murkowski Congress bill for MRT, 2017 Murkowski support letter for roads, june 2018 US Forest Chief agreed and said Alaska Govenor needs to submit a road re-write request & set up a citizen committee. The Govenor did both. Dec. 2018, all 4 of the Committee's recommendations include roads for mining. This is now why Ucore talks of more than just REE's at Bokan............ June 13, 2019 ---- " This announcement and prioritization are significant for Ucore, as 7 of the 8 primary minerals at the Bokan Mountain Complex (BMC) in Southeast Alaska are identified as Critical Minerals under the Report. Ucores Bokan Dotson Ridge development is considered one of the most heavily enriched zones within the BMC. In 1989, the U.S. Bureau of Mines (USBM) released an extensive study1 naming the following minerals as being significantly enriched in the nine zones of the BMC geology: Beryllium, Niobium, the Rare Earth Elements (REE) Group, Yttrium, Tantalum, Uranium & Zirconium (the 8th non-critical mineral is Thorium)".
July 25, 2019 " Ucore has spent several years preparing for the events now unfolding in the U.S. REE market, said Pat Ryan, Chairman of Ucore". That mountain is going to have an Open sign hanging off of it. Like it's been called....the billion dollar mountain.
