Newsletter to Shareholders from CEO, Max C. Li Proof of Concept Achieved!
Dear Shareholders,
May 6, 2019
In my May 1, 2019 Newsletter I advised that I had traveled to Seattle on April 30, 2019 to personally deliver our i-BRIGHT AIR pro Ambient Air Quality Monitor and our NB IoT PCIe card for certification, and that this was a major milestone for Tri Cascade, because certification will open up the door to us for NB IoT business opportunities in many ways. I am very pleased to let our shareholders know that the samples of our i-BRIGHT AIR pro Ambient Air Quality Monitor are now connected and live with the T-Mobile NB IoT network. We are moving forward with full speed on the certification process. This will be the first IoT outdoor air quality monitor equipped with NB IoT capability and certified!
According to Allied Market Research, the Air Quality Monitoring market is expected to garner $6.9 billion by 2022, registering CAGR of 9.2% during the forecast period 2016-2022. Outdoor air quality monitors are the devices used to detect and monitor the level of pollutants in outdoor environments. They detect the levels of pollutants such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrous oxide, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The need to maintain the increased monitoring of outdoor air quality has fostered the demand for smart IoT air quality monitors that transmit data on a real time basis, as polluted air contains several harmful and potentially dangerous elements that cause health problems. These toxic pollutants are released in air through emission from various industries, vehicles, or combustion of fossil fuels in residential areas. Municipalities are now very anxious to install IoT Outdoor Air Quality Monitors so that neighboring residents and businesses in affected areas can be warned as timely as possible to take remedial action. Increase in levels of outdoor air pollution has triggered the spread of disease such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, and cardiovascular problems. The rise in awareness towards the adverse effects of polluted air on health has propelled the growth of the outdoor air quality monitoring market. In addition, the supportive government regulations pertaining to monitoring and control of outdoor air pollution and increase in public–private partnership for air quality monitoring have supplemented the demand for cost effective IoT air quality devices.
We are leading the way with the solution - an accurate, reliable and cost effective NB IoT outdoor air quality monitoring device that can be easily installed in strategic city areas – providing centralized real time monitoring of outdoor air quality levels.
Respectfully,
Max C. Li.
