I noticed that some of you got the TBG strips by calling KB to send you some of them. I got mine several days ago and decided to compare J&J strips to TBG. I know that I am just a nano-sample, but I can not believe the difference. I don't think there is a test out there that gives a 100% accurate sample because real life situations are different than a sterile controlled environment, so the tests I came up with are...How consistent are the readings...same spot, same finger...the next test was how consistent are they with different fingers , different hands all side by side...my initial results have been the TBG strip is far more consistent than J&J. My next test will be to buy a TBG meter to see the results between TBG strips and current meter vs the old One touch basic. I know a sample this small might not be enough for people to switch...but I was very impressed, and very reassuring that I am not investing in junk. I would like to see an ad in Diabetes Forecast that other people will give test results...but that is for a different day.
