Side effects are dose related , and most people do not experience all of the side effects , and not with equal severity.
Many of them are reversible , ( not all ) .
More common side effects , in more than 30% of patients :
-low blood count , including platelets , so bleeding may happen,
nausea and vomiting , hair loss , weakness , blood test abnormalities including Magnesium.
Less common side effects , in less than 30% of patients:
-abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation , mouth sores ,infections , peripheral neuropathy , central neurotoxicity , kidney problems , liver problems , abnormal blood electrolyte , hearing loss , heart failure and strokes have been reported , allergic reactions.
Plus others ....
Many patients generally tolerating treatment ok , but now every side effect will need to be evaluate very carefully if is not in anyway related also to Leronlimab.
Dr Pestell feel that all be ok and patients will tolerate 700 mg dose.
