per Finra .. they (NR/non retail) can do *targeted trades*
i've watched *retail* bids be bypassed for targeted trades
i've also watched retail bids .. hold off NRs' relentless PPS compression
at times for days .. one memorable *round* ran for 4 days
bottom line is i have a few caveats ..
the most obvious is noting when a pattern changes out
the two most recent on IPIX (as noted here a few x now) .. was 9.12.18 and 3.1.19
volume is the key .. imo
volume is comprised of *trades*
trades have time stamps and *can* correlate to what is being shown via l2
*imo* when NR is significantly upside down on their *target*
as imo they are on both IPIX and another 10 year survivor
and they have been unsuccessful in parting investors from their *shares*
NR has serious issues ..
which *imo* will be reflected .. via what is *reported* .. as it has been most recently from 3.1.19 up thru yesterday
it is also worth noting *imo* that NR has little to no oversight .. especially re: OTC .. and if caught it goes something like this:

what is interesting for those of us who track this .. is the requirement last month
of an indy consultant .. but i digress
imo it will always come back to folks doing their DD .. understanding their risk/reward .. and ascertaining that NR follows almost to a T .. the same pattern and playbook today .. they did a decade ago .. the difference now tho' .. *imo* .. is that far more mgmts on the OTC are aware .. to say nothing of retail investors drawing their respective lines in the sand based on their DD
there are no guarantees in life .. every investor or trader has to ascertain what works best for themselves .. it is their money .. that said where there is money to be made .. serial conmen and grifters .. and off shore entities .. will CONgregate

Thank you for your response. I placed an order recently above the ask and my shares weren’t filled until later in the day and not all of the shares were filled, yet I was still above the ask. I see this happens to a lot of people. I noticed on the other board that someone asked Lone Ranger why this happens so they took the entire string of comments down. Your information kinda explains why this is happening.
