Some thoughts on Gartner
To give you context: I've worked with Gartner for years and did a project with them 18 months ago. 3 months, not 11 years.
They said if I ever break free, they would love to work together on other projects.
Gartner is #1 in research but more importantly, they talk to and advise almost every large company out there on technology. Most care what they think. Some companies only care what they think.
You can pick up the phone and say, "Tell me what's coming in sales technology" for example.
Here's the facts:
1. Gartner thought Sales Video Technology was 10 years off
2. VERB has Sales Video Technology
3. VERB has a relationship with Gartner
4. Gartner no longer thinks it's 10 years away
How do I know this?
They took it off their chart for 2018
On the chart now are at least 3 areas that VERB fits in
Augmented Sales Intelligence software is the type of conversation Gartner loves to have.
I wouldn't be surprised to see VERB added into their list this year
