I understand you concerns, but I respectably disagree. Doug Gillen is a major talent, not a corporate "coaster" in a cushy job with a huge corporation.
He's also the first "heavy hitter" brought onboard because a member of our management team (Oscar Herrera) actually had an active history of business dealings with the individual and knows first hand what he knows and is capable of.
If you thoroughly understand what he's done as a leader vs. a follower, then you'll understand the huge potential he brings to the table. Young doesn't equal success. Smarts, experience, contacts (real contacts) and motivation equal success, and you don't have to be young to be motivated. I believe he will bring us major success.
