Without naming sources or hard data to back up my statements, I am currently more confident in the success of IPIX than I have been since last Spring when we seemed to start missing all our expectations as to news, deals, trial results, etc.
The start of my increasing confidence was the recent spate of PRs that seemed to be a pattern established by our potential partner as to what needed to be proven prior to their acceptance of a deal and to date we seem to have passed all requirements with flying colors.
Then came some correspondence with various people that I highly respect who have made me believe stronger than ever that Leo is being courted by BPs rather than chasing after one to give us any kind of deal.
The final link in the chain is that OM is now ready for P3 in having the sachets ready to go, IBD is oh so close to having the pill developed and that is IMO the key to the overall exploitation of the total value of Brilacidin (and yes, I do believe it will be the monster most of us have always expected, or at least dreamed, that it would become) and that Kevetrin is currently wearing its Chinese costume (that of a sleeping dragon) and with the progress already made on its pill formulation all that is missing right now is the finances to get it to the point where the pill is available and the myriad combo trials begin with other cancer drugs. The talk of Kevetrin being dead or being ignored by BP is pure BS and Kevetrin will be the ultimate star for cancer treatment if it then goes on to succeed in reducing tumors as Dr. Menon expects it to do.
Bottom line: Timing - Not getting caught out on a limb regarding that tricky subject but IMO we are very close to the elusive deal as IMO it is not that deals aren't being offered, but that Leo is making sure we don't give away even a single indication for Brilacidin that is not indicative of its value. As such, I think soon is within a month or two but if it stretches out a bit, so be it.
