OpsRamp Joins the Cloud Native Computing Foundation As a Silver Member

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OpsRamp , the service-centric AIOps platform for the modern enterprise, today announced its silver membership in the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Today OpsRamp provides auto-discovery for Kubernetes and Docker hosts along with Kubernetes infrastructure monitoring for multi-cloud infrastructure (AKS, EKS, GKE) and on-premises environments. The CNCF partnership comes as the company is set to release new features for Kubernetes monitoring in a matter of weeks. According to its charter , CNCF seeks to drive adoption of technologies like containers, service meshes, microservices, immutable infrastructure, and declarative APIs by fostering an ecosystem of open source, vendor-neutral projects – democratizing state-of-the-art patterns to make these innovations accessible for everyone. OpsRamp enables organizations to use artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) technologies to control the chaos of managing hybrid, multi-cloud environments efficiently and effectively across dynamic environments. OpsRamp has always been committed to managing cloud-native computing workloads and its upcoming release will include several features that provide support for projects of CNCF, including container management and several services for Kubernetes. “OpsRamp is a big believer in both the spirit of open source and the capability, flexibility and efficiency of cloud-native architectures,” says Mahesh Ramachandran, Vice President of Product Management for OpsRamp. “We’re joining the CNCF to collaborate with the Kubernetes community and support the mission and vision of this organization.” “We’re thrilled to have OpsRamp join CNCF,” says Dan Kohn, CNCF executive director. “We look forward to helping enable collaboration between OpsRamp and other participants of the cloud-native ecosystem to build and run scalable applications in modern, dynamic environments such as public, private, and hybrid clouds.”   About OpsRamp OpsRamp enables IT to control the chaos of managing their hybrid IT operations and act as a service provider back to the business. Built in the cloud, the OpsRamp service-centric AIOps platform drives total visibility across hybrid infrastructures, offers complete multi-cloud infrastructure monitoring and management of business-critical services, and optimizes services through automation and integration with ITSM and DevOps tools. Now enterprise IT can deliver IT operations as a service and power a digital operations command center that’s built for the challenges of modern, hybrid infrastructure. Hundreds of enterprises like Dolby, Epsilon, KAR Auction Services and Bio-Rad and managed service providers like NetEnrich, GreenPages, and NTT Data use OpsRamp to unify service availability information, transform contextual insight into action, and replace routine tasks with intelligent automation.
