The map itself was extracted from the EIA's energy mapping GIS system a short while ago, and it shows the locations of three of the five PADD III inland refineries, Andeaver/Western in El Paso, HollyFrontier's Navajo unit, in Artesia, NM, and the Delek/Alon Big Spring unit.
The black lines are crude transmission pipelines. The tan lines are refined products transmission pipelines.
MMEX's site location near Fort Stockton is pin-pointed.
As should be plain, to even the dullest individual, MMEX is distant from any market or infrastructure to reach a market.
The current crude transmission lines under construction bypass MMEX's site by 30-miles or more, and there are no refined products pipelines existing, or planned. The South Orient/Texas-Pacifico line is not viable, and won't be until millions more are available for rehabilitation.
