You cannot compare the National Highway system to a 10 mile trolley system that could have serviced people using BUSES on existing roads. The trolley route construction is and will disrupt traffic on I-5 causing massive traffic congestion.
It would not require the building of NINE new stations.

#MidCoastAlert: Full nighttime closures of Friars Rd. between Sea World Dr. and Napa St. are scheduled Monday, December 17 to Thursday, December 20 for San Diego River Bridge construction.
