Good Morning All. I remember posting about the im

However, I will say that I suspect there is good news one can glean because of this delay. If, in fact, we are waiting on the President to sign a Bill that Congress took forever and ever to finally pass, then the outcome will likely be greater than originally imagined. Now, before I go further I feel it is important to note that we really do not know what caused this lengthy delay. Doctor Dalton may not have lied about how nearly finished the financials were, and other issues may have come up that prolonged the pain. But now that the Bill is soon to be signed, what can we infer?
First, I suggest that whatever is about to happen is so big that it requires national legislation, and the Farm Bill does that. Second, the Farm Bill sets up the DEA to remove at least hemp and CBD products from the list of controlled substances. So why would these companies need this to happen?
May I suggest that the reason this must be done first is very likely because the move by these companies (Univec, AGRiMED, Sativeo, HCI, MariMed, and possibly others) is because their next move is national and possibly international in scope. And, the only way they can accomplish their next move is with national legislation.
Lets think about this for a moment. A company such as Merck would not touch a cannabis company without national legislation. Even our own government will not allow cannabis treatments without a legal basis for doing so, and insurance companies are not likely to cover such treatments either. So think bigger folks. I will not post those possibilities publicly, but one does not need a big imagination to speculate on the possibilities. However, I will say this much, the wait could be well worth it.
