Hanks never ever spent a million+ on this road - and if so, that would have been an outrages waste of investor's money!
From what I've heard and read, the office is no longer rented by MMEX!
Hanks didn't HAVE Congressman Hurd come out and support the project - Hurd has scheduled and done a trip into this region, having met with various folks and companies, like MMEX - in no way he supported Hanks' project...not all all. And BTW what has Hanks delivered ever since?
Hanks invited the townspeople to his ground braking charade - so, why shouldn't they come and attend. There is nothing going on in this town anyway so they are thankful for any kind of disruption from their boring routine. And again, what has Hanks delivered ever since? In what way have those townfolks supported the project other than (like Hurds) expressing their verbal approval...which is of course worthless business wise.
The upgrade of the railway system isn't linked at all to MMEX!
And AGAIN: WHAT HAS HANKS DELIVERED EVER SINCE???
