KEMP, Texas, July 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, has released an explosion proof air conditioner that offers a cooling and heating solution for Class I, Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 work sites. This assembly includes an indoor cooling/heating component, an outdoor unit and a remote control, and operates on 200-240V @ 50/60Hz.
The ATEX-HA-ACH-2T-200.240V from Larson Electronics is an explosion proof air conditioner that provides operators in hazardous environments with efficient cooling and heating. The system operates on 200-240V @ 50/60Hz and has a SCOP ratio of 3.8. The system uses a R-410A type refrigerant and offers 24,000 BTU (7.1 kW) of power during cooling, and 8.2 kW during heating.
This dual-purpose air conditioner is constructed of non-sparking materials and features intrinsically safe motor steerings, and circuits equipped with protective ATEX PCB coating type 6800. These protective measures allow this unit to be mounted in ATEX rated facilities. The ATEX-HA-ACH-2T-200.240V is designed to be wall mounted and includes a remote for wireless operation.
