$PSGR Let's play a game! The Game is called 'What Do You Think Is Really Going To Happen With Your Money IN this FICTITIOUS MINING COMPANY?"
Keep in mind that this is just a Game and does NOT represent a real company or investments in a real company. No money or items of value are to be wagered!!! UNLIKE REAL WORLD STOCK INVESTMENTS, there are no real winnings or losses from The Game. The Game is intended solely for amusement and in no way represents anything indicative of how the future will be for either the Game company or investors.
The Game Rules
Investors are given $5,000 in play money. A stack of cards with a number is placed in the middle of the Board. Players, in turn, draw one card and advance their token according to the number on the board.
Players sit around a 'Board' that is marked on THREE sides with squares that are labelled in order (see below): NOTE: MINIMUM INVESTMENT must be $250.00 each time player lands on 'INVEST MONEY'
Player picks a card and must follow the directions on the card....Note: there are 100 cards with 98 cards marked with the number 1; 1 card marked with the number 2; and 1 card marked with the number 3.
Side 1 through 3 squares are marked as follows"
'Invest money', 'Investment value goes down 10%', Press Release', 'Invest money', 'Investment value goes down 25%', 'New Press Release', 'Invest money', Investment value goes down 15%'. 'Invest money', Invest money', 'Invest money' (Losses are to be based upon the amount of money in the players pile of money and percentages are to be removed according to the amount in the player's pile and placed in the middle of the Board in the Box Labelled 'Company Funds'. NOTE; Percentage decrease or increase is based upon the entire amount of player's holdings/investment accrual)
The fourth side of the Board has squares labelled as follows: 'Share price goes down 25%'*, 'Share Price goes down 50%'*, 'Share price goes down 12%'*, 'Press Release', 'Share price goes up 2-1/2%'**, 'Share price goes down 47%'*, 'Nothing happens because it is the weekend', 'START AGAIN: Invest at least $500.00 to Go Forward'' (Invest money, do NOT collect money when passing Start Again'.
Players must continue to play for a MINIMUM of TWENTY TIMES around the board or until they run out of money.
* Remove the percentage noted from your cash pile and place in the center of the board marked Company Funds.
* From the center of the board marked Company Funds, take 2-1/2% of the value of the stocks you hold from the Company Funds pile.
