I think it's important to remember that the Chinese already own a third of the Company (Chan) and Domminick owns 10%.
I don't trust Chan at all, he basically stole a third of the Company for a few hundred thousand dollars- pretty unbelievable, but at some point he has to stop pillaging the shareholders and figure out a way to get his shares to be worth more like the rest of us. He has more at stake in the success of this company than anyone. I never had any faith in Gerald's ability to do anything and I still don't, but Chan is well connected and I am certain he is working behind the scenes to make something happen- either through an IPO, merger or some kind of deal in China.
I'm sure he's also trying to get more shares in the process- take a big "fee" for his services etc, hopefully Gerald doesn't give him too much more, but at this point, I'm ok if he walks away with a little more if he can put something meaningful together. But either way I think he's probably pretty involved in anything Gerald is working on.
