Coined “Saving is in Style Saturdays,” the events are aimed at helping consumers save without sacrificing their favorite weekend routines or indulgences. “Saving is in Style Saturdays” will take place weekly from 10 a.m. to noon starting Saturday, July 7 through Saturday, July 28, and include several items and activities at no charge. The bank partnered with local business customers and companies across nine different markets to provide the public everything from breakfast burritos and gourmet coffee drinks to professional-taught fitness classes and car washes. “This puts a fun twist on financial responsibility, and will hopefully help folks save by providing items they regularly pay for,” said Jim Reuter, CEO of FirstBank. “But it also sheds light on what FirstBank represents, ‘banking for good,’ meaning we do what’s right for customers and communities.
