Bill Clinton Accusers Outraged Over His Remarks
on Lewinsky: He's Playing the 'Victim Card'

< >

A woman who accused then-Arkansas Attorney General Bill Clinton of rape expressed her outrage over the former president's recent comments during an NBC interview.

Juanita Broaddrick said on "The Ingraham Angle" that Clinton's comments on the Monica Lewinsky scandal and the "MeToo" movement were "disgusting."

"I saw this decrepit, angry old man who was trying to play the victim card. The same man who 40 years ago raped me," she said.

Broaddrick's book, "You'd Better Put Some Ice On That," tells of the incident, and the only words Clinton spoke after the alleged rape.

Broaddrick said that she was approached by Clinton in 1992 with a profound apology for what he'd done, only to find out a week later he announced he was running for president.

Clinton was questioned during the NBC interview about the Lewinsky scandal while promoting his and author James Patterson's book, "The President Is Missing."

He said that he does not owe Lewinsky a personal apology and that he left the White House $16 million in debt due to the scandal.

Clinton commented on the controversial interview during a book tour event Monday night, claiming that he "got hot under the collar because of the way the questions were asked."

Kathleen Willey, another woman who has accused Clinton of sexual misconduct, said she was speechless and outraged by his comments.

"I could not believe the words that were coming out of his mouth," she said. "I think he actually does believe that he didn't do anything wrong."

"He doesn't get it. That's just the way it is."

Both Willey and Broaddrick said they'd tell Clinton to "go to hell" if he tried to apologize for his actions today.
