this isn't my opinion, but rather fact as I was contacted by the co. to utilize my network. after this all fell apart I was informed that at the time of the deal they had assets they were trying to lever (never ownership of funds). they had no idea how to lever and were groping at broker/dealers and banks to figure out a solution. they had no clue what they were doing and clearly shows months later
