Former Army Ranger Running for GA Governor

A former Army Ranger running for governor of Georgia touted his "true conservative vision" for his state on Wednesday.
Hunter Hill (R) attended West Point and was an airborne ranger who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He said on "The Daily Briefing with Dana Perino" that he has the right leadership experience to be Georgia's governor.
"I think voters are tired of Republicans campaigning like Ronald Reagan and then governing like Barack Obama," he said.
Hill, a former state senator, said he believes in limited government, less taxes and more freedom.

He added that career politicians use "gimmicks" to talk about their toughness on illegal immigration.
"Why are we paying our own citizens to do nothing?" he said. "We have to address the long-term entitlement challenges of our country."
Hill has received an endorsement from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), and said that he'd be grateful for support from President Donald Trump as well.
"I'd say Ted Cruz is number three right there at the top of the entire nation for leading the fight for conservative values and principles," Hill said.
