Meanwhile only a few derogatory posts on the other

Full disclosure. I worked for over 40 years for an at-home testing kit and glucose test system company. Worldwide, my former company has over 1.2 million users. My former company is in fourth place of the Big 4.
Dexcom, Hurricane Willy's favorite company (today) has barely 8,000 users. Dexcom has spent over $170 million on their me-too technology (to date). They have a free pass, some would say an exclusive club pass, by the FDA. And barely 8,000 users.
Lifescan has over 4 million users worldwide. Roche has 3.75 million users. Dexcom isn't going to take over anything. The FDA isn't going to approve an in-vitro sensor for continuous glucose monitoring, so companies in the market will have to rely on exo-sensors. Exo-sensors don't work well. Things like mouthwash (alcohol) and even post-sex chemistry changes, make these sensors go crazy. Further, the devices that contain these sensors are expensive. Medicare doesn't like expensive.
I have two additional comments about Willy. If he knows so much, he should contact Dexcom's chairman and attempt to be elected or appointed to their BOD. Unfortunately, Willy has no industry experience, no formal education in the sciences, in fact no higher education at all, plus Willy has a nasty disposition. BODs run and hide from people like Willy.
Second and last, according to my friend Barbara Asbell, engineers should engineer, chemists should perfect chemistry, accountants should account, market researchers should publish market studies, and stock traders should trade stocks. I agree with her. In my experience, the only exception to this rule is in M&A where the M&A expert is often required to cross professional lines. Willy is none of these things. But Willy, because he is down on the stock, which is Willy's rationale for hating everything Berman, is trying to convince everyone that he knows what he is posting about. This is totally untrue. I would say shame on Willy, but it is obvious that Willy has no shame.
