As I have stated many times, Companies are not as concerned with the day-to-day PPS as their investors (100X more so in Penny Land). In addition to a strong stomach and large stones (as others have pointed out), one need a good "nose" to be successful in this game. I'm smelling something very good coming in the very near future (but then again, I'm probably due for 2nd sinus surgery these days).
