I really am uncertain that as of today any single company in the U.S. is positioned to provide cannabis based products in every State. I also believe that some States have regulations saying that cannabis used in products sold there must be from cannabis grown there. I'm really uncertain as to what States have these restrictions, and I'd be happy if someone had the specifics.

On the positive side, I believe that Emilia does have some capabilities already existing in the U.S., so perhaps products can already be made here. Hopefully with changes Federally we'll also get changes in State laws that permit cannabis based drugs to be imported at least from other States, and eventually Internationally as long as they're being produced in facilities that meet or exceed manufacturing standards for here in the U.S.

I believe that OWCP's indication that they have products that are "market ready" is based on the fact that Emilia is already producing the drugs as needed for trial in facilities that meet the required manufacturing standards in commercial quantities. As I understand it, anyone using a large variety of products that are found under private labels like Walmart are using products made by Emilia.

As I understand OWCP's agreement with Emilia, the choice of using product made by them should be up to the company who's actually distributing and selling the product in the Countries or States licensed to them by OWCP. All these companies will have the choice of manufacturing the product themselves, or purchase them from Emilia on the terms established by OWCP. That's the way I understand it, if others believe I'm wrong, please say so.
