trying to showcase their own abilities as well would be way too small. Doing it as the last minute must mean interest and demand has been crazzzy. That's a great sign. Maybe someone else dropped out to make room. I thought I saw a convention layout some place put can't find it at the moment.
Your insights into the advantage of upgrading makes sense. At some of the conferences I've been at, upgrading means you are buying everyone lunch or get your name on a napkin, but this has added perks to consider. Being able to give a presentation would be good, but sometimes you'll be in a breakout room with 200 people vs. the 7.500 that will be attending. If it was 1000 people, might be worth it. Also the bigger sponsors have their name on everything so a bit late to have that happen.
As far as emailing Rory with target markets, he's probably had 100 people emailing him about dating sites, elearning, real estate, etc. I'm guessing he gets so many emails, pm's and text he can't get to many outside his circle. Wondering when he will be on overload if not already. It's his good nature that probably has him staying up late at night trying to catch up with everyone.
Might be better to post new ideas here or if someone thinks they have a great idea that they don't want to let the competition in on (not that there is any comp) to maybe PM you. That would filter out all the ideas that were posted over the last year a number of times. As this is already exploding I'm always thinking Rory won't have the time to spend like he used to. That's a great thing as we all want him to be at places like the Network Bar rather than him pm'ing redspeed.
