It may be the better course for IPIX investors (I'm not certain) but certainly not for BP. BP has deteriorating pipelines but piles and piles of cash which are only getting bigger with the recent tax reform (repatriation) law. BP is in the business of turning cash into new pipeline/revenue streams. You don't dilute your stock when you have more cash than you know what to do with.

Amen. I have full confidence they will get us the best deal available. Looking forward to selling our widget for $100 but if $5 is the best we can get I'll be thrilled with that as well. Lord knows it beats $0.56.
