If the BP's of the world were secure in their pipe

That, however is not the case and many lucrative patents are coming to a close and BP's are increasingly dependent on Bios like IPIX to come up with the new technology and novel approaches to drugs and therapies.
With so many BP's under the same pressures to perform for their shareholders, there is less and less toleration for errors in finding and buying new technology to fuel their pipelines.
Companies at the "top of the heap" like Pfizer and Novartis (and a few others) cannot afford to let "Holy Grails" slip past them and get snagged by lesser entities.
If , say,BP "A" won't pay what Leo and IPIX expects, nothing can stop IPIX from saying "Well, since you will only pay 3/4 of what we're looking for, then we'll sell to BP "X" who is offering the same price but you won't get it.They will.Have a "Nice Day". They can't afford to play that game. And Leo knows it.And so do we.
