Yes, it really is a threat to the basher gangs. Their whole reason for existence is to keep retail from buying the stock, thereby trying to control the bid pressure and make it easier for MMs to manipulate the SP.
Even though this venue is much smaller than the swamp, it serves a great purpose, providing an important counter to swamp FUD.
