What IS sad is your inability to retain the train of posts in your memory.
Let me refresh yours:

That's NOT black and white but rather a compilation of thousands of anecdotal stories, and the data from brain activity being measured when the hear shuts down during surgical procedures.
Doesn't mean that each experience wasn't 'revelatory' to each person who went through it.
Neither does it mean that the process has not been explained... the electro-chemical shutting down of the brain, and it's 'revival' as blood flow is restored.
I haven't 'lost' a thing from looking into the matter. But 'story time' is always appreciated.
