The CEO has written that he would prefer to have I

He has followed through on his other statements -- just look at the drugs progressing through clinical trials, at relatively VERY low cost and with NO toxic financing --
HOWEVER -- I would love to see the company market Brilacidin-OM on its own, without a Big Pharma involved.
If ever there were a drug that sells itself, it would be Brilacidin-OM.
Think of these advantages:
• Reduces risk of developing severe OM by half (when compared to all past statistics on OM incidence in head and neck cancers, rather than the very low rate of incidence in our study)
• Oral rinse, not an IV
• No systemic exposure (very important for cancer patients who already have many other drugs in their systems and/or have weakened immune systems because of chemo/radiation)
• Easy to use -- just mix a powder with a certain amount of water (assuming that the company proceeds with developing this, as they stated)
• Easy to carry and store, again assuming powdered formulation. No bulky bottles that might need to be refrigerated after opening.
And, the clincher really:
THERE IS NO OTHER DRUG THAT REDUCES THE INCIDENCE OF SEVERE OM
It would take a very small sales force -- just a couple of people to staff tables at conventions, and to send out brochures -- to market this.
There's no competition, and there are not THAT many oncologists, particularly ones that treat head and neck cancer. It would be easy to contact them all.
What doctor WOULDN'T prescribe Bril-OM, if it reduces the chance of getting a painful and debilitating side effect? Would they want to risk a malpractice suit when the patient developed it, and a nurse in the hospital said "Too bad you didn't use Brilacidin-OM"?
Think of all the TV ads you see for drugs. How hard would it be to make a good, short ad telling people that they can reduce the risk of chemo and radiation side effects, with a simple oral rinse?
So anyway, MY desire would be for the company to go it alone for Bril-OM. The proceeds could fund all the clinical trials they want to do.
But that's not what they've stated as their plan.
Lousy engineer, sorry for such a long response -- if you're still reading....
