Why would it be more relevant after Wednesday? And why do you think it would only be relevant if there's a "move towards settlement"? I can't recall this having been discussed before, either.
"Trying to guess what's going to happen" is basically the entire premise of investing... you have a theory, you put money on it. Anyone who makes that decision once and doesn't constantly re-evaluate based on subsequent developments won't be investing for very long.
The whole "take over the company" and "sell if you don't like it" mantra seems to come from those close with the company; have you ever had contact with any DECN D&O's, gman?
