5/17/2012 Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. Awarded 5 Year Contract
Bulova Technologies Group,Inc. (OTCQB:BLVT) (the “Company”) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary,Bulova Technologies Ordnance Systems LLC,has been awarded a Five Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract from the U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center-Crane Division for the delivery of Distress Illumination Signal Kits and Hand Fired Distress Signals.
The total contract is valued at $9,820,950.00. The first delivery is scheduled for November 2012.
Stephen L. Gurba,President and CEO of BLVT stated,“The receipt of this award adds to our substantial backlog,valued in excess of 100 million dollars over the next 5 years,and adds a new product line to our manufacturing facility in Mayo,Florida.”
